What's in a Kit? | Winter Kits Project

Dear Friends,

When winter arrives in Mongolia, it arrives with extreme conditions. Temperatures can drop below -40°C, and for many children, having the right winter clothing determines whether they can safely continue attending school.

That’s why we begin preparing months before the first snowfall.

Each Winter Kit takes time to source, pack, and deliver. By fundraising now, our team and local partners can ensure children receive their kits before the harsh winter season begins.

Each $100 CAD Winter Kit includes essentials like a warm winter coat; insulated boots; a hat and gloves; multivitamins and ongoing discipleship training.

A Winter Kit provides more than protection from the cold. It helps children stay in school, experience care from their community, and encounter the hope and love of Christ.

This August, Asian Outreach North America is raising funds for 200 Winter Kits. Thanks to one of our partner churches, 25 kits are already funded, but there are still many children waiting.
